This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Technology adds nothing to art. Two thousand years ago, I could tell you a story, and at any point during the story I could stop, and ask, Now do you want the hero to be kidnapped, or not? But that would, of course, have ruined the story.
I've been here before, but don't expect to see any deviations out of me. I haven't any talent of my own, mostly I just like to look and see what everyone else has to offer the world.

To each his own. I hope getting to know people here will help you find the confidence to give it a try yourself. "There is a book in everyone", perhaps there is a picture too?

Life is real, life is earnest, the grave is not it's goal.
Dust thou art, to dust returnest, was not spoken of the soul.
It isn't so much that I haven't a picture inside of me. I have thousands of pictures inside of me. I have my fair share of things I want to show the world. It is simply that I haven't the talent to show them. C'est la vie, I suppose.
On a completely unrelated side note, I was just browsing through those little moods on the side, and decided that the Sadness>>Sympathy mood was just the cutest little thing I'd ever seen. But I most say the reversion animation (just as the hug is broken) is downright depressing. Poor little purple smiley just wants a hug!

Now see, I think that is not true.
Art consists of two things, hand eye coordination and vision. You have vision, so all you need is to train your hand to draw what you see, and as you learn that you can move on to what is in your head rather than in front of you. In that regard art really isn't all that different than math or science. If you want to learn and are willing to invest the time to learn the rules then it becomes something you can learn and not a quasi unattainable thing called 'talent'.
So, you have no excuse now. It's time to start posting some doodles.
